How Rikaz Brought Retal Plus Closer to Visitors at Urban October

From the architectural model to printed display boards and presentation tables, Rikaz’s pavilion offered several ways to explore the project over four days of meetings.

Discovering a project sometimes begins with an image that catches the eye, then develops when there is an opportunity to look, ask questions and hear an explanation. At Rikaz’s pavilion during Urban October 2026, these steps came together around Retal Plus: an architectural model for visitors to view, printed materials presented before them, and a team guiding them through the details.

Scenes from the exhibition show conversations beside the model and others at a white table holding laptops and project materials. In one photograph, a team member presents a large display board to a female visitor, while other photographs document explanatory sessions between the team and visitors. These small details show how discovering the project combined viewing with direct conversation.

Combining the model with project materials gave each tool a role in the presentation. Visitors could view the building’s form in the model, then follow what the team presented on a display board or laptop. Conversation connected these elements, allowing visitors time to explore the details that mattered to them.

Rikaz’s participation extended over four days, during which it documented successive meetings with visitors to its pavilion. At the close of the fourth day, the company thanked everyone who had visited, spoken with the team and learned about Retal Plus, connecting these meetings to its responsibility towards the trust placed in it by customers.

Retal Plus’s presence at Urban October complemented its introduction at the Royal Opera House Muscat, through a space centred on meeting visitors and explaining the materials in front of them. Anyone wishing to explore further details about the project can get in touch through Rikaz’s official channels.
